HOLLEY VIDEO HUB
Software license agreement.
This agreement is between Holley Video, owned by Zak Holley, Los Angeles, California ("Holley Video") and the person or company that buys a license ("you"). "The Software" means the Holley Video Hub, its modules, installers, updates, plugins, manuals and license keys. By completing checkout you accept these terms.
1. License grant
Holley Video grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software for your own productions, limited to the activations your plan includes. The license is valid only while your plan is active and paid.
| Plan | Activations | Networked seats | License length |
|---|---|---|---|
| Show Pass | 1 hub | Unlimited on that show | 7 days from activation |
| Operator | 1 machine | Local use, any 4 modules | While subscribed |
| Show | 1 hub | 4 | While subscribed |
| Flypack | Up to 3 hubs | Unlimited | While subscribed |
| Perpetual | 1 hub | 4 | No end date |
| Facility / Enterprise | As set in your order | As set in your order | As set in your order |
- Each license key activates on a machine once online, then the Software runs offline.
- Crew members may open modules from a browser on your show network within your seat count; they do not need their own license.
- To move a license to a new machine, deactivate the old one in the Software or ask Holley Video to reset it.
2. What you may not do
Your copy and your license key are for you alone. Without Holley Video's written permission, you may not:
- share, upload, sell, rent, lend or give away the Software, its installer or your license key;
- install or activate it on more machines than your plan allows, or try to get around the activation limit or license check;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or modify the Software, except where the law allows it despite this term;
- remove or change any notice, branding or licensee name shown in the Software;
- use the Software, its manuals or its design to build a competing product;
- publish screenshots or video of features Holley Video has not yet released.
If a key is shared or misused, Holley Video may disable it without refund.
3. Billing, trials and updates
- Subscriptions (Operator, Show, Flypack) bill monthly or yearly through Stripe and renew until you cancel. Cancel any time in the customer portal; you keep access to the end of the period you paid for. No refunds for partial periods. When a subscription ends, the Software stops launching until you renew.
- Free trial: the Show plan includes a 3-day trial. If you don't cancel before it ends, your card is charged and the subscription continues.
- Show Pass: covers one production for up to 7 days from activation, then expires.
- Perpetual: you may use the version you bought indefinitely. Updates and support continue only while the yearly Updates & Support plan is active; if it lapses, you keep your last version.
- Updates: active subscribers and Updates & Support holders receive new versions. The Software never installs an update while modules are running without your approval.
- Discount codes apply only as stated at checkout.
- Your show data (profiles, scripts, logs) stays on your machines and remains yours.
4. Ownership, warranty and legal terms
- Ownership. Holley Video owns the Software and all rights in it; you get a license, not ownership.
- Confidentiality. Unreleased features, roadmaps and anything Holley Video marks confidential stay private.
- Feedback. Holley Video may use any suggestions you give, freely and without owing you anything.
- Third-party gear. The Software controls equipment made by others (Blackmagic Design, AJA, Panasonic, Sony, LG, Samsung, Elgato and more). Holley Video is not affiliated with them and is not responsible for their hardware or firmware.
- Your show is your responsibility. Test the Software on your setup before using it on air, and keep a manual fallback for critical functions.
- No warranty. The Software is provided "as is", without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a purpose or uninterrupted operation, to the extent the law allows.
- Limit of liability. Holley Video is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue, missed broadcasts or damaged equipment. Its total liability is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
- Termination. The license ends automatically if you break these terms. On termination you must uninstall the Software and delete all copies.
- Governing law. California law governs; disputes go to the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
- Changes. Holley Video may update these terms; continued use after notice means you accept them.
